
Command Holdings CEO Honored for Advancing Tribal Economic Growth and Leadership
Reno, NV (April 28, 2026) – Jon Panamaroff, CEO of Command Holdings, a Pequot Company, was named Executive of the Year by the Native American Finance Officers Association (NAFOA) at their 44th Annual Conference. Since 2008, NAFOA recognizes the achievements of Tribal leaders driving economic progress within Indian Country.
This award recognizes outstanding financial leadership within Tribal business enterprises. Panamaroff was selected for his innovative financial stewardship, commitment to Tribal economic development, and proven ability to lead organizations that strengthen Native communities and economies.
Since becoming CEO of Command Holdings, Panamaroff has led the company through significant growth and transformation. Under his leadership, the organization completed multiple major acquisitions and achieved 175 percent revenue growth, positioning the company for long-term success and sustainability.

Panamaroff, a member of the Native Village of Afognak, has dedicated his career to advancing Native economic opportunity. Prior to joining Command Holdings, he held executive leadership roles with Native organizations including Koniag Government Services, where he helped guide the organization through extraordinary expansion.
Beyond corporate leadership, he plays a national role in advancing Native economic development and advocacy. Panamaroff currently serves as Co-Chair of the Native American Contractors Association, and Chairman of the Board for Natives of Kodiak, advocating for policies that support Native businesses and strengthen Tribal economies.
